After the Camp, many students are excited to keep the SAGE mission going at their own schools. As a result of the 2025 SAGE Camps, 10 new SAGEx clubs formed, and 10 SAGEx clubs from last year are still active!
These clubs are located in three states: California, Tennessee, and Illinois.
SAGEx clubs are supported by volunteers from the laboratories, who help by:
- Hosting guest speakers (often via Zoom)
- Sharing ideas for fun and meaningful mini-projects
- Planning laboratory tours, which we hope to offer again this spring
In addition, a group of physicists supports SAGE alumni who are interested in participating in the Beamline for Schools international competition at CERN. These physicists provide guidance and mentorship to help students develop and strengthen their project ideas.
Through these clubs and opportunities, students can explore science more deeply, connect with real scientists, and continue their journey in STEM beyond the Camp.
